Music feeds the soul all year round. To this day, I still haven’t figured it out… Is it music that affects the way I feel about the seasons? Or is it the other way around? Is it the golden leaves and crisp air that make listening to the American Beauty soundtrack magical? Or is it Thomas Newman’s genius that makes watching leaves and plastic debris dance in the wind magical? I don’t think I will ever truly know which is more powerful, the seasons or the music. The only thing I am sure of is that a good Spotify playlist is one of the best things in the world. An afternoon walk in October is another.
